Network Marketing Fears

stay motivatedNetwork Marketing Fears

Network marketing fears can hold a lot of people back from taking action.

We listen to the skepticism from others.

Our associations, peers, friends and co-workers who most of the time are either complaining about their boss, what so and so did last week or some other meaningless story that will not do anything for your lifestyle than actually showing us methods of living differently.

Television is the better choiceat home business

I don't have time for network marketing or building a business.

Is it really network marketing fears at all or is it simply people don't care enough to find out for themselves if it is really a better opportunity then working a job?

What shocks me is that more people would rather watch soap opera's or reality television then learn how to build a business that will yield them residual income.

I dont blame them.

We all need a sense of release, someone to escape from the reality we live in as employees.

Most of us have responsibilities, families to raise and when you spend 90% of your day at work, a little time watching television could be a good thing.

The truth is, a lot of time can easily be wasted and a few solid hours of devoted concentration on learning how to be an entrepreneur, to earn income even when you sleep, is far more entertaining then any reality television show.

It also does something for finances and mental health.

Network marketing has one of the easiest modes of entry yet fear, often times, holds people back from even trying.

Who brainwashed you into believing that having a job is the only way to earn a living – Seth Godin, author, entrepreneur, speaker

The short-term easy meal that gives temporary relief will not change your financial reality.

If you have children it is even more a reason to consider a change.

The difference between the employee and the network marketer is the employee is tied to showing up for work in order to exchange that time for a paycheck.

Show up for work, get payed, do not show up, do not get payed

The entrepreneur is not tied to the clock.

They can work as much or as little as they choose, part-time or full-time and still have income coming in.

This isn't taught in our schools so, of course, most people think it is a scam.

How many times were you told this growing up

Money doesn't grow on ______________

Get good grades so you can go out and get a good ___________

Rich people are _______________

Money is the root of all _________________

The point is it gets wrapped up in our subconscious mind, all of these negative connotations that are not only untrue but hold us back in life.

We all need tough love, a coach or mentor who can break us out of our shell.

I had to learn the hard way that running 140 miles a week was not going to get me any closer to breaking 2.22.00 for the marathon distance while I was still a 2.43.36 marathon runner.

I was doing it my way when the fundamentals of pace sustainment teaches another way.

Volume didn't do it, there needed to be a change in mindset and it wasn't easy.

Everyone knows how to run easy (employee mindset), very few learn to run fast for long periods of time and those that do realize the have to change the set of their sail in order to make that happen (entrepreneur mindset).

negative influenceFormal knowledge versus self knowledge

I don't care who you are, rich or poor, educated or uneducated, everyone is interested in earning more cash flow.

Who would not want to be able to help their families who are in need, travel more often, take some time away from work and not have to worry about it.

There is something about the do-or-die attitude. It’s almost like when someone has the do-or-die attitude time, fate and circumstances seem to get together, have a hasty conference and say ‘they say they are going to do it, or die…we might as well let them have it’ -Eric Worre

If you are not one of those people, you are lying to yourself and to me.

Imagine going back to school to earn a degree and not having to worry about how to pay for it or a job you had to report to.

Do you realize people are living like this who are getting out of their comfort zones and learning the network marketing business model?

Is the thought of this being some form of ‘get rich quick scheme' or ‘scam' more damaging then the thought of living the next 20 to 40 years of your life in a cubicle or having someone else tell you what to do.

Does get rich slow sound better to you?

How about working 30 to 40 years at a company to retire old.

How about retiring young?

Does the thought of a salary make your mouth salivate as compared to learning a skill that pays you while you learn it?

Were we payed while we were going to high school or college?

What other opportunity teaches you how to become financially dependent and pays you at the same time?

How about learning a skill in 2-5 years part-time while your working as an employee that could help you retire 30 years earlier?

Do you realize I, too, currently am an employee and understand the fears and skepticisms you have?

It is no different then wanting to lose weight, run a faster marathon or qualifying for the Olympic Trials, you have to break away from what everyone else is doing.

There has to be a change in mindset.

I have a few people who have mentioned they may be interested.

Interest and commitment are drastically different.

I am interested in running under 2.18, commitment is going to be painful, interest isn't going to get me there, 100% commitment is.

Interest is living paycheck to paycheck.

Commitment is living without answering to an alarm clock and doing what you want to do instead of being ordered what someone else wants for your life.

Interest is being open to a new skill like network marketing but taking no action.

Commitment is doing something about it.

An old proverb says, ‘if a man wants his dreams to come true, he must first wake up’ -Eric Worre

Understandably, the pain of starting and trying is just too great when the knowledge of not trying at all is so much easier and involves no risk.

Big difference between wanting and doing folks.

BIG!

There is no way on God's sweet green earth I am going to give up on any of you whether as a coach, sharing advice (running or non-running related) or giving up on this business model, letting go of rundreamachieve.

If I have to go in front of a few hundred people and give a speech to share what this company is doing for those who choose to be a part of it either as an associate or preferred customer.

I WILL do it.

Public speaking fears will be overcome

I have had a fear of public speaking for years and having served now on active duty in the military for nearly 13 years it still isn't easy.

It would be easy if I was to speak about this because it can change people's lives and we all do not necessarily see the opportunities that are before us fully until we are open to them.

We have too many people acting as if we are going to live forever, not traveling, achieving their dreams.

We spend more time away from our families at a job then we do with our families.

Earned income is what we have been taught in our school systems.

Trade your life for a paycheck.

Rank and file.

Conform.

Residual income has not been taught

Residual income is not understood by employees because we have not been taught to be entrepreneurs but workers.

Consumers, not producers.

We get inundated with television commercials telling us what to buy, rather then learn skills to build income even when we are sleeping.

We're taught to conform and do what everyone else is doing blindly believing it is the best way simply because someone else told us it was, without ever asking is it really the best way?

There are two pains in this world. The pain of discipline and the pain of regret. It is up to you to choose which you want for your life – Jim Rohn, entrepreneur, life coach, businessman, mentor, coach

If this bothers you, I do apologize but having been an employee for my entire life I have finally woken up to reality and I want to help people live fuller and more vibrant lives.

The clock isn't stopping for you or I.

No one owes us a living yet we sure act as if someone does.

We have to get back to the mindset of our ancestors who lived before the turn of the century.

They were business owners who relied on themselves and had control and leverage of their time.

This, I hope, is sinking in.

Again, time is not stopping for us whether we take action or not.

We have been brainwashed into the ‘work for a living' philosophy instead of the ‘living a life' reality we truly all can have.

There are people who are, on a daily basis, becoming more and more disgruntled by the amount of time they are spending away from those they love.

The corporate world is weighing on them and the idea of a salary just doesn't seem so appealing.

These people, these outliers, are growingly becoming more and more driven to learn the way the few are choosing to go.

The masses are doing the same thing everyone else is doing.

It is painful, I know, to read this because possibly you may still be in that category.

I have one foot out and one foot still in and am working to take the entire leap away from my fears, the unknown of wondering if I will lose a friend or two by choosing to do what they will not.

If there are people earning 6 to even 7 figures per month, if they can learn the skills to live that type of lifestyle so can you and I.

I am not interested in the fancy cars or the extravagant living or spending.

Money is meaningless compared to family and health.

I am interested in the control and leverage of time.

I am not letting up. Galen Rupp's personal best doesn't change the reality of my bank account or my health.

THINK about it.

There are more people who would rather watch 50 hours per week on television (does nothing for your financial or physical life) then spend 30 minutes on network marketing, one of the most unique business models that one can learn yet has chosen to let others skeptical views get the best of them.

At the turn of the century in 1900, less then 10 percent of us worked for other people or the government, over 90 percent of us were self-employed. We were an independent people. In 1980, only 80 years later, over 90 percent of us worked for the other people or the government. Less then 10 percent of us were self-employed – Eric Worre

I'm here to help both as a coach, consultant, friend, mentor. I am not going to give up on you or what I am doing. It isn't in my nature.
