Quality over quantity of miles. The biggest problem many marathoners run into is the volume concept. I need to run high mileage in order to get real results in the marathon. That is not entirely true. I got up to as high as 142 miles a week training for my past marathons. It left me stale and fatigued. I chose a different route and focused more on quality
